Marco Simoncelli will start MotoGP Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya from pole position.
The pole for Simo is like the revenge to the criticism he has faced since Le Mans. The Catalunya's practise pace setter Casey Stoner will start in grid 2 after lost the pole by just 0.016sec in the last minute of qualifying. Home hero and point leader Jorge Lorenzo on grid 3. He said that it would be miracle if he can win this Grand Prix.
Local star Dani Pedrosa and Colin Edwards are excluded from the race because of broken collarbone. Pedrosa suffered since Le Mans, while Texan Colin Edwards Suffered drom first day practise of Catalan MotoGP.
